The Collinwood Trojanettes Girls Volleyball Team, who finished the season 3rd in regular season play, fell to Hampshire in the first round of the District Tournament. This loss unfortunately ended the season for the Trojanettes.

Leading the Trojanettes on defense was Rylee McWilliams, while Sophie Gobbell led the offense with the most kills. Asia Kelly and Kensey Howe led the team on serving, while AC Whitehead and Kaycee Luker led the team’s serve receive and contributed at the net with kills, kill attempts and tips. Addie Quillen led the team in blocks and was right behind Gobbell in kill stats.

These girls had a great season, and showed great strength through the adversity of playing during this Covid pandemic. Way to go, Trojanettes, and good luck to the graduating Seniors!—Submitted
