Christopher Gerald Flanigan Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

   Christopher Gerald Flanigan, age 27, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Wednesday, December 18th on multiple drug-related charges. Deputy Spencer Ray filed a report stating that he and Deputy Brett Rinehart were conducting a traffic stop on the above-mentioned vehicle at the intersection of Mink Branch Road and Herbert Gallian Drive when they noticed Flanigan walking on Mink Branch Drive. Deputy Ray’s report stated that he made contact with Flanigan, asking him for permission to pat him down for weapons, and noticed Flanigan trying to conceal a small box in his shirt sleeve. Deputy Ray confiscated the box and found that it contained a substance believed to be methamphetamine. A full search of Flanigan allegedly revealed multiple baggies of methamphetamine, weighing a total of 1.3 grams; a baggie of marijuana weighing 1.4 grams; a glass pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana; and 0.6 grams of a white powdery substance packaged as to represent a schedule II controlled substance, but was actually aspirin. Flanigan was arrested on charges of manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of schedule VI marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and counterfeit controlled substances. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $97,500.00 bond.
