Christopher George Caperton was born February 1, 1975 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, the son of Edward Lee Caperton and Margie Blalock. Mr. Caperton departed this life on January 10, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 44 Years, 11 Months, 9 Days. He was a forklift driver for Hassell and Hughes Lumber Company, enjoyed deer hunting, and watching wrestling. He also attended the United Church in Lawrenceburg, TN.
He is survived by his mother Margie Dixon Blalock; father Edward Lee Caperton; a daughter, Christy (Caperton) Powell and husband Johnathon; a sister, Kimberly Grigsby and husband Albert; and a grandchild, Cayden Powell, all of Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Louis Dixon, Christine Dixon, Paul Caperton, Maxie Caperton; and a brother, Keith Caperton.
Services will be held on January 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, TN with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Shields Cemetery at Waynesboro, TN.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 15 from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, January 16 from 8:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.
