Chad Dewayne Gaston Arrested for Methamphetamine

   Chad Dewayne Gaston, age 34, of Collinwood, was arrested on Tuesday, December 10th, on charges of manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving on revoked. Deputy Tyler McKenzie filed a report stating that he performed a traffic stop on the vehicle being driven by Gaston for expired registration. As Deputy McKenzie was writing Gaston a warning citation for the expired registration, he asked for and was granted permission to search the vehicle. Deputy McKenzie then allegedly found a syringe loaded with methamphetamine under the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Gaston was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $53,500.00 bond.
