Cathy Lacole Porter Arrested on Drug Charges

   Cathy Lacole Porter, age 30, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Wednesday, July 14th. Deputy Holly Tuck and Investigator Dale Palmer located Porter at the Collinwood Library, where they placed her under arrest on previous warrants for failure to appear and contempt of court. The reports stated that Porter allegedly admitted to the officers that she had a “drug kit” in her purse, and the officers went on to find a pouch in Porter’s purse that held methamphetamine, marijuana, and three syringes. Porter then received additional charges of possession of methamphetamine, simple possession/casual exchange, and public intoxication. She was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond.
