Carol McIntosh Johnson of Clifton, Tennessee was born February 21, 1947 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Joseph Alexander and Edna Rachael Twaseeter McIntosh. She was united in marriage to David Rex Johnson in 1971. Mrs. Johnson departed this life on July 31, 2020 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 73 Years, 5 Months, 10 Days.
During her life, Mrs. Johnson joined the Women’s Army Corps, earned a Registered Nursing Degree and enjoyed spending time in nature, particularly the Tennessee River.
She is survived by daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Dallas, TX; grandchild, Alexander Indigo Q Petree; three brothers, David McIntosh, Willard McIntosh, Mike McIntosh; three sisters, Barbara Jean Lutz, Dolores Earnest, Cathy McGarry.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, Joe, Cletus and Richard McIntosh and two sisters, Virginia Diehl and Mary Ellen Dick.
At her request, her remains were cremated.
