Boyd Junior Cole, was born October 24, 1930 in Ralston, NE, the son of the late Calvin Boyd and Emma Ray Cole. He passed from this life on February 5, 2021 at his home in Waynesboro. Mr. Cole was of the Baptist faith and proudly served his country in the Navy for over four years, and worked as a United States Postman for over thirty years.
He is survived by nephew William Cole, niece Deborah Cole both of Waynesboro, nieces Geneva Kelley of St. Petersburg, FL and Lisa Manderscheid of Naples, FL as well as many great- and great-great nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cole was preceded in death by brothers Vernon, Everett, Gus and Marion Thomas Cole.
Services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee. Burial will follow in Gallaher Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation will be on Monday, February 15, 11:00 AM until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN.
