Bobby Ray Holt of Collinwood, Tennessee was born on December 15, 1957 in Wayne County, Tennessee. He was a son of the late Charlie Houston Holt and Pearl Lilly Newborn. He married the former Olivia Denise Clay on February 7, 1997. Mr. Holt was a disabled mechanic and of the Baptist faith and departed this life on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 62 Years, 6 Months and 24 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Olivia Denise Holt of Collinwood, TN; his sons, Bobby Shannon Holt, Cody Clay, Ryan Clay, and Jordan Holt and a daughter, Tequilia Clay all of Collinwood, TN; a brother, Johnny Holt and his wife, Glenda of Collinwood, TN; his sisters, Alice Marie Holt of Iron City, TN and Mary Lou Sherrill of Collinwood, TN; his sister-in-law, Mary Kathryn Holt of Collinwood, TN and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his brothers, Charlie J., Billy Wade and Glen Holt and his sisters, Lydia Fay Bratcher and Mavis Newborn.
Services were held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, assisting the family. Visitation began at 5 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2020 and continued until service time.
Pallbearers were Brice McCurry, Gerald Risner, Dwight Sherrill, Stacy Holt, Chris Caperton, Dustin Clay and Randy Holt.
