Mr. Billy Ray McClain of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born on Friday, May 7, 1971 in Savannah, Tennessee. He was a son of the late Arlie Odell and Iva Dean Sharp McClain. Mr. McClain departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 49 Years, 11 Months and 7 Days. He was a former machinist with TVA and logger, and was a member of the Green River Tabernacle in Waynesboro, TN.
Mr. McClain is survived by a son, Chanston R. McClain of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Hannah Pippenger of Spring Hill, TN and Lindsey Marks of Waynesboro, TN; three brothers, Lee McClain and Paul Ary both of Waynesboro, TN and Johnny Ary of Sheffield, AL; and a sister, Linda Gail Ary of Waynesboro, TN.
Visitation for Mr. McClain was held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 2:00 p. m. until 3:00 p. m. prior to the services at Griggs Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN. The graveside service was held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Griggs Cemetery on Hog Creek in Waynesboro, TN with Casey Jones officiating. Burial followed the services with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.
