CITY OF CLIFTON TENNESSEE REQUESTS BIDS FOR FERRY LANDING PROJECT

   The City of Clifton, Tennessee is requesting bids from experienced, qualified, insured and licensed contractors to extend our Ferry Landing at the end of Main St. to form a paved loop that begins at Main St. and intersects with Polk St.  Project includes installation of a gate at Polk St. that is of similar material and construction to the existing gate at Main St and the addition of parking spaces located at the bottom of the loop. All bids shall include the furnishing of all materials, construction equipment, labor and any required insurance.  

   Proposals are to be submitted to the City of Clifton by 4:00 pm CST, Friday October 16th, 2020. Bid opening will immediately follow in the City Manager’s office at City Hall. Bids will be presented to the Clifton Board of Commissioners at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 26th, 2020 at 6:00 pm for review.

No Bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. Winning bid is expected to commence construction within 60 days of bid award. The City of Clifton reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
