Betty Katherine Gray Gresham was born on January 27, 1966 in Savannah, TN, the daughter of Margaret Katherine Pulley and the late Richard Oliver Gray. She was united in marriage to Donald L. Gresham on October 29, 1985 and he preceded her in death on July 25, 2017. Betty worked for many years as a factory worker for several different manufacturing companies. Her favorite hobbies were fishing, being with her grandbabies, and reading. Betty departed this life, surrounded by her family, on February 14, 2023 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 57 years and 18 days.
She is survived by her mother, Margaret Katherine Pulley; son, Jason Gresham; daughters, Kristy Gresham Bowen and Ashley Gresham Johnston; niece, Emily Gray; brothers, Richard Gray, Billy Gray, Johnie Gray, and Tony Gray; and 13 grandchildren, all of Waynesboro, TN.
In addition to her husband and father, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Gray.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN, with Greg Eaton officiating. The burial followed in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
Those honored as being pallbearers were Branden Bowen, Isaiah Gresham, Richard Gray, Bentley Bowen, Dakota Gresham, and Johnie Gray.
