Mrs. Patsy Nutt recently sent us another bald eagle sighting to share with our readers. She said that the beautiful birds have briefly appeared on the family farm at the north end of 48 Creek for many years, searching for food at the lake or on the creek that runs through their property. The visiting bird pictured above stayed a little longer last week, enjoying a feast of discarded fish heads on the creek bank. Mrs. Nutt said that she observed the majestic creature several times throughout the day, and each time he seemed to be unconcerned with her presence. She said that at times it was as though he was posing, turning his head from side to side. What a beautiful sight!
