Waynesboro Elementary School proudly announced last week that Mrs. Ashlee Long, Kindergarten teacher at WES, had been selected as WKRN News 2’s Educator of the Week.
“Mrs. Long is dedicated, nurturing and has a great can-do attitude which parents love,” said WKRN. “She tailors lessons so everyone learns at their pace – and provides extra help to students who need it to keep them on track.”
Later, Mrs. Long will be eligible for Educator of the Month, at which point votes may be submitted in her support.
“WES, along with our entire county, is home to some amazing, transformative teachers,” said Principal Brad Stooksberry. “It is worth celebrating when we are able to show off one on a state-wide platform!”
