Justin Dale Littleton, age 36, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Tuesday, January 4 on charges of burglary, theft of property over $1,000, and vandalism under $1,000. According to the report filed by Lt. Jeremy Staggs of the Waynesboro Police Department, Littleton was clearly identified on surveillance from a hidden camera entering Rochell’s Barber Shop while the business was closed and without the owner’s knowledge or permission. After entering the building, Littleton allegedly gained access to a locked wall-mounted safe and took cash from a money bag. According to the business owner, he has found over $1,655 in cash to be missing from the safe over the last few weeks. Littleton was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $37,500.00 bond.
Donald Ray Wright, Jr., age 45, of Lawrenceburg, TN, was arrested on Tuesday, January 4 on a capias issued by the Wayne County Grand Jury on November 5, 2021. The Grand Jury returned an indictment against Wright on two counts of sale of methamphetamine and one count of conspiracy to sell methamphetamine. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
Garvis Glen Smotherman, age 58, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Wednesday, January 5 on multiple charges. Officers with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Smotherman’s residence, and during the execution of the warrant, Smotherman was allegedly found to be in possession of a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, approximately 1.2 grams of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia including a syringe, pipe, and digital scales. Smotherman was arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, manufacture/deliver/sell/possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $135,000.00 bond.
Donna Kay Wilson, age 59, of Waynesboro, was arrested on Wednesday, January 5 after the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence Wilson shares with Garvis Smotherman. Wilson was allegedly found to be in possession of over 0.5 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia including multiple glass pipes and digital scales. Wilson was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was booked into the Wayne County Jail on $85,000.00 bond.
Patricia Baylee Atkinson, age 26, of Waterloo, AL, was arrested on Sunday, January 9 on a capias issued by the Wayne County Grand Jury. Atkinson was indicted by the Grand Jury on November 5, 2021 on one count of conspiracy to sell 300 grams of methamphetamine. She was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail on $100,000.00 bond.
