Anthral Thomas Copeland was born August 15, 1953 in Lewis County, TN, the son of the late Emeral Wayne Copeland and Vertie Neva Morris Copeland. Mr. Copeland was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He departed this life on August 22, 2022 in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 69 years and 7 days.
He is survived by a son, Thomas Bradley Copeland of Anderson, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Copeland was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Copeland and Aaron Copeland; and three sisters, Joyce Taylor, Gailda Swinford and Wanda Copeland.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN. Funeral services were held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial followed in the Copeland Cemetery in Collinwood, TN with military rites.
