The Donnie E. Horton American Legion Post 254 from Collinwood, TN recently participated in the Great American Cleanup. These impressive veterans collected 260 pounds of litter and 120 pounds of recyclables from Highway 13, mile marker 16-18 in beautiful Wayne County, TN. The recyclables were then transported to the Wayne County Solid Waste facility for processing. One of the veterans even found a $20 bill! Not only can littering cost you a fine; people are literally throwing their money out the window! These guys are doing a great job, and continue to serve the community in many ways.
