   Amelia Josephine Copeland of Waynesboro, Tennessee was born August 24, 1932 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Jessie Almon and Mary Ruth Duren Copeland. Miss Copeland was retired from Genesco Manufacturing in Waynesboro, TN and was a member of Upper Green River Baptist Church, Waynesboro, Tennessee. She departed this life on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 8 Months and 28 Days. 

   She is survived by her  brother, Jerry Wayne Copeland and  wife, Ruby, Waynesboro, TN; her sisters, Betty Ann Hannan, Huntington, WV and Helen Rosalie Ramirez and  husband, Johnny, Waynesboro, TN; nephew, Brian Johns and nieces, Maria Engel, Lisa Thompson, Celia Hampton and Amy Johns; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Copeland was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Copeland and her brother-in-law, J.R.  Hannan. 

   A graveside service was held on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 1 pm at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with her pastor, Jerry Flippo officiating. Burial followed with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Serving as pallbearers were Allen Hampton, Andrew Hampton, Matthew Hampton, Chase Brison, Brian Johns, and Rick Rice.
