I, Phillip Casteel, would like to officially announce my candidacy for County Mayor/Executive in Wayne County, TN. I am the son of the late Leon and Hazel Casteel and the husband of Teresa Andrews Casteel. I have two daughters, Kassy LeeAnn Quick of Waynesboro and Laura Danielle Arnett of Collinwood. They each are married and have three children. My wife and I live on our farm on Shawnettee Creek in Collinwood surrounded by wonderful neighbors and friends. During my life I have worked as a machinist/tool and die maker and as a lifetime farmer.

I have served for 16 years as Dist. 4 County Commissioner and have been honored to do so. During this time, I have observed the process of the county government and its needed direction. I will always lead with conservative values and work for the people of Wayne County to the best of my ability. I want to help make Wayne County a better place to live for my grandkids, and for every citizen in this great county. It has been an honor to serve Wayne County as a commissioner, and if elected, I will continue to serve the people to the best of my ability as your County Mayor/Executive. I humbly ask for and appreciate your vote and support in the upcoming election.
