It’s that time again! Sunday, November 29, is the 7th Annual Wayne County High School Bob Haggard “WILDCAT” Alumni Basketball Game.
The girls’ game will tip off at 2 pm, followed by the boys’ game. Proceeds from the event benefit the Bob Haggard Character and Service Scholarship for a WCHS senior. WCHS Interact will be funding four scholarships next year, so your attendance and participation in this event is crucial to its success. This event is sponsored by the WCHS Interact Club, a student leadership organization that Bob helped found. The scholarship is worth a total of $5000, divided in equal payments for four years.
WCHS alumni who play in the game will receive a free t-shirt compliments of TGR Printing. Business sponsorships are available for the t-shirts and programs. Admission will be charged for players and fans. Each team will be limited to ten players, so 20 total men and 20 total women.
