The Waynesboro Church of Christ will be hosting the 2nd Annual Red Cross Memorial Blood Drive in honor of Bob Turman on Tuesday, July 12th from 12:30 until 5:30 p.m.
Bob Turman was a well-known Waynesboro educator and judge who passed away in December of 2020 from complications of COVID-19. His daughter Sarabeth Turman had the following to say about this 2nd Annual Bob Turman Blood Drive:
“Help change the life of someone in need. You never know when you or someone you love will need to receive blood. Donating blood was important to my dad, and I’m sure he never thought he would be the one needing it in the future. My dad and I have both been recipients of blood transfusions. Knowing the importance and effects of giving, he never hesitated to donate blood when the time arose. On July 12th, 2022 there will be a blood drive in memory of my dad at the Waynesboro Church of Christ. Please help us in celebrating his life and saving another by donating in memory of my Dad.”
