   Lawrence/Wayne County Cattleman’s Association Summer Meeting

   The Lawrence/Wayne County Cattlemen’s Association will be hosting a Summer Beef Cattle Educational Meeting on Tuesday, June 29th beginning at 6pm. The location will be the West End Community Club Center located at 5514 Waynesboro Hwy., Lawrenceburg, TN. 

   Oracio Molina with Corteva Agriscience will be the speaker and the meal sponsor. He will be discussing pasture and hay weed control and Corteva’s herbicide options. The meeting will be kicked off with a sponsored meal.

   VIRTUAL Master Farm Manager: NEW class starting June 22, 2021

   This UT Extension educational program will utilize a hybrid model with prerecorded videos and live webinars. Four live webinars will be held Tuesday and Thursday nights on June 22nd, 24th, 29th and July 1st, 2021. The zoom webinars will start at 6:00 PM CST. Recordings of four previous sessions will be available to view. 

   Tennessee participants who complete the Master Farm Manger Course will receive three year certification and qualify for 50% cost share for the following TAEP Programs: Genetics, Hay Storage, Livestock Equipment, Livestock Solutions, Working Facility Structure, Dairy Solutions, Agritourism, Fruit & Vegetables, Value-Added Products, and Poultry Grower.

   Note: We are unable to accept payments for this program in the office as it is a statewide program.  Payments must be made online.
