Arrond Shane Wammack, age 31, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, was arrested on Thursday, December 31st on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of schedule IV Clonazepam. Deputy Tyler McKenzie performed a traffic stop on the vehicle driven by Wammack for having a swapped license plate. During the course of the traffic stop, Deputy McKenzie learned that the registration was good, and a mistake was made when running the numbers through dispatch. While dispatch was checking for warrants on Wammack, Deputy McKenzie walked K9 Eryk around Wammack’s vehicle, and Eryk allegedly alerted to the passenger door. Deputy McKenzie then performed a search of the vehicle and allegedly found approximately 0.3 grams of methamphetamine in the pocket of a jacket located between the seats, and three pills identified as Clonazepam in a backpack located in the back of the van. Wammack was arrested and booked into the Wayne County Jail with no bond due to outstanding warrants in Maury County, TN.
