Joshua Wade Benedict, age 34, of Collinwood, was arrested on Tuesday, December 8th on multiple charges when officers served him with warrants for theft of property and failure to appear. When officers went to a residence on Pumping Station Road to serve Benedict with the arrest warrants, he was allegedly found to be wearing a camouflage fanny pack that held approximately 1 gram of methamphetamine and a loaded 9mm pistol. Benedict was then arrested and charged with the two previous warrants along with charges of manufacture/delivery/sale/possession of methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.
