Terry Lynn Turnbo of Columbia, Tennessee passed away suddenly and was pronounced on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home at the age of 67 years, 6 months, 9 days. He was born in Lewis County Boyce Clinic on March 25, 1953 and was a son of the late Howard Edsel and Dorothy Virginia Turnbow Turnbo. Mr. Turnbo received his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, TN in 1975. He eventually moved to Columbia, TN and was a salesman for Sloan Ford until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of Christ, the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and the Stoney Brook Golf Club.
Mr. Turnbo is survived by his son, Chaney Ryan Turnbo of Columbia, TN; a grandson, Jasper Chance Turnbo; a sister, Linda Turnbo Isbell (Claude) of Hohenwald, TN; a brother, James A. (Jamie) Turnbo (Angie) of Columbia, TN; his nieces and nephews, Randal K. Brown (Pam), Alicia G. Anglin (Steve), Rodney C. Brown (Kandi); Colton Turnbo and Chelsea Martin (Dan); his step-nieces and nephews, John, Bucky, Kearstin, Alexis and Amanda Isbell; his grandnieces and nephews, Eliana, Gaveral, Korbin and Macy Brown, Kayle and Corby Anglin, Ella and Wyatt Martin; his great-grandnephew, Liam Anglin; special uncle and aunts, John T. Turnbow (Arnell), Helen Turnbo Howell, Delia Collins and several cousins. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kennie and Mary Turnbow and Curtis and Hester Turnbo.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 3 pm at Memorial Gardens, Wayne County, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Dewayne Staggs officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County assisting the family. Visitation was for 30 minutes before the services at the graveside. Pallbearers were Randal Brown, Chris Brown, Colton Turnbo, Steve Anglin, Robert Bunch, and Donald Bunch.
