2nd Annual CRUSADE AGAINST CANCER--Event Set For Mar. 28 In W'boro

The 2nd annual "Crusade Against Cancer 5K" will be held on Saturday, March 28 at the Waynesboro City Park. Registration will begin at 8 A.M. and continue until race time at 10 A.M. Pre-registrations are now being accepted for runners/walkers with registration forms at Wayne County Bank, Roger Smith Agency or online at crusadeagainstcancer5kitsyourrace.com.
All proceeds will be given to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for cancer research. It is reported that more than one million people in the United States get cancer each year. Almost everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and this would be a great opportunity to show your support of this worthy cause. Organizers are asking for your help to fight back, get involved and make a difference in the fight against cancer.
For more information, contact Sharon Bromley at 931-722-5151 or 931-722-3350.
