Director Responds To 911 Mishaps

  Emergency 911 Direct- or Jimmy Turnbow reported to the Wayne County News this week that two separate incidents in recent weeks involved circuit problems which interrupted the delivery of 911 calls to the routing service located in Cookeville, TN.

This program is designed to allow each JAG program from across the nation to assemble in one location to gain and share ideas as well as recognize high achieving schools and teachers.

Former Board Of Ed Employee Charged With Federal Pgrm. Fraud

Kayla Luna, 47, of Waynesboro, Tennessee, was charged by a criminal information filed Wednesday, Aug. 13 with federal program fraud, announced David Rivera, U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Qualifying Deadline Aug. 21 City Elections

Thursday, August 21 at 12 Noon is the qualifying deadline for the City of Clifton and The City of Collinwood Commission elections. Their petition has to be filed by this date.
